In Corona, 4788 people were affected, 71 killed

Islamabad: At least 71 people were killed and 4788 affected by the global outbreak of Corona virus while 50 were in critical condition.

According to the National Command and Operation Center, 190 new cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours.

Corona Wire reported the highest number of cases in Punjab with 2336 cases. Sindh has reported 1214, Balochistan 220, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 656, Islamabad 113, Gilgit-Baltistan 215 and 34 cases in Azad Kashmir.

Overall, 54% of the cases came from other countries and 46% were local. So far 762 patients have recovered and 71 died in Corona.

Corona died in Sindh 22, Punjab 19, KP 25, Gilgit-Baltistan 3, Balochistan and one in Islamabad.

So far 57,836 people have been tested across the country and 2457 new tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.

The quarantine centers in 698 hospitals in Pakistan are undergoing treatment and 11508 beds have been arranged in the hospitals.

Partial lockdown has been made to minimize the spread of corona virus in Pakistan. Public gatherings are banned in the country and educational institutions are closed.
